At Commercial Engraving & Cutting, we make it easy to order custom stencils tailored to your needs. Whether you’re marking equipment, creating signage, or applying branding, our process ensures high-quality results every time.
We donât expect you to be a designer or know how to create filesâweâre here to help. To get started, simply send us:
A logo, sketch, or idea
This could be a photo of a previous stencil, a business logo, or even a rough drawing. Weâll turn it into something stencil-ready.
The size you need
Let us know how big the part you want to paint needs to be, as well as the overall size of the stencil. This helps us include an overspray border so you donât get paint where you donât want it. If you’re unsure, we can help guide you.
Where youâll be using it
For example: painting on concrete, spraying onto metal bins, labelling equipment, or something else. This helps us choose the right material.
Once we have your order and artwork confirmed, weâll provide an estimate for designing your stencil. From there, weâll prepare a proof for your approval before we begin cutting.
When sending your logo or design, hereâs what we need to help you quickly:
Preferred format: A vector file like .AI, .EPS, or editable PDF is idealâbut if you donât have that, just send what youâve got (like a JPEG or PNG), and weâll take it from there.
Clear sizing: Let us know how wide and tall you want the final stencil.
Text and fonts: If your stencil includes text, let us know if you have a preferred font.
Bridges and cut-outs: For letters like O, A, and P, the centres will fall out unless âbridgesâ are added. If youâre unsure, weâll take care of it in the design stage.
đïž Need help turning your logo into a stencil-ready design? We offer artwork setup starting from $35.
Our stencils are used for:
Painting logos or labels onto equipment, signs, or bins
Numbering and lettering for workshops, schools, and events
Brand marking on packaging or products
Creative projects, wall art, and signage
Different projects need different stencil types. Weâll choose the best one based on your needs, or you can request a specific option:
HDPE (Plastic) â Reusable, flexible, and very easy to clean. Paint doesnât stick easily to HDPE, making clean-up a breeze. Unlike metal stencils, HDPE wonât dent or fold if dropped.
Vinyl (Adhesive) â One-time use, ideal for clean paint edges or sandblasting.
Magnetic â Great for curved or metal surfaces where you need the stencil to stay in place.
MDF â A low-cost reusable option, suitable for short-term use. MDF stencils can swell or degrade when exposed to moisture or heavy paint, so their lifespan is limited.
Acrylic â Rigid and easy to cut, but not ideal for long-term use with spray paint as it tends to wear out quickly and can crack over time.
Metal (Galvanised Steel, Aluminium, or Stainless Steel) â The most durable option, perfect for industrial or high-reuse environments. These stencils withstand heavy use, outdoor exposure, and high heat.
Note: These stencils require additional production time.
Not sure what suits your job? Just tell us what youâre using it forâweâll recommend the best option.
