Custom stencils your logo, cut to size
Send us your logo, sketch or even a photo. We’ll set it up, show you a proof for approval, then cut your stencil from the material that suits the job: plastic, MDF, vinyl, magnetic or metal.
You don’t need to be a designer
We don’t expect you to know about files or formats. Here’s how it works:
Send us your artwork
Your logo, sketch or photo. Don’t have a file? Send what you’ve got and we’ll set it up.
Tell us the size and use
How big, and what it’s for. We’ll recommend a material, or you can choose your own: plastic, MDF, vinyl, magnetic or metal.
Approve your proof
Standard setup of a supplied vector logo is free. We send you a proof to approve, and nothing gets cut until you say so.
We cut and send it
Standard turnaround is 5–10 business days from artwork approval, posted Australia-wide with tracking.
What to send us
Email your logo or design to info@cecengraving.com.au. Here’s what helps us get your stencil right:
Preferred format
A vector file (.AI, .EPS or an editable PDF) is ideal. Don’t have one? Send what you’ve got, even a JPEG, PNG or photo, and we’ll take it from there.
Clear sizing
Tell us the size of the part you’ll be painting as well as the overall stencil size, so we can include an overspray border.
Text and fonts
Have a preferred font? Let us know. If not, we’ll choose one that cuts well as a stencil.
Stencil bridges
Letters like O, A, B, D, P, Q and R have centres that would fall out when cut, so we add small bridges. We take care of this in the design stage.
Need help turning your logo into a stencil-ready design? Standard setup of a vector logo is free. For anything more involved, we’ll quote first and always check with you before we proceed.
What our stencils are used for
Painting logos or labels onto equipment, signs, or bins
Numbering and lettering for workshops, schools, and events
Brand marking on packaging or products
Creative projects, wall art, and signage
Pick the right stencil material
Different projects need different stencil types. We’ll choose the best one based on your needs, or you can request a specific option:
HDPE (Plastic)
Reusable, flexible, and very easy to clean. Paint doesn’t stick easily to HDPE, making clean-up a breeze. Unlike metal stencils, HDPE won’t dent or fold if dropped.
Vinyl (Adhesive)
One-time use, ideal for clean paint edges or sandblasting.
Magnetic
Great for curved or metal surfaces where you need the stencil to stay in place.
MDF
A low-cost reusable option, suitable for short-term use. MDF stencils can swell or degrade when exposed to moisture or heavy paint, so their lifespan is limited.
Acrylic
Rigid and easy to cut, but not ideal for long-term use with spray paint as it tends to wear out quickly and can crack over time.
Metal (Galvanised Steel, Aluminium, or Stainless Steel)
The most durable option, perfect for industrial or high-reuse environments. These stencils withstand heavy use, outdoor exposure, and high heat.
Note: These stencils require additional production time.
Not sure what suits your job? Just tell us what you’re using it for—we’ll recommend the best option.
We can do the design for you
If you don’t have the right file or format, don’t worry—we can do the design for you. Setting up a standard vector logo is free; for anything more involved, we’ll quote first and always check with you before proceeding.
We’ll also make sure the stencil works properly—for example, adding small “bridges” so the centres of letters like O, A, and P don’t fall out during cutting.
